SFL serves as HSP to 2 Royal Thai Navy Frigates

Two Thailand Navy Frigates – HTMS (His Thai Majesty’s Ship) Naresuan (FFG-421) and HTMS Bangpakong (FFG-456) recently conducted a goodwill visit to Philippines. Both vessels have been served by Seaway Filipinas Logistics, Inc. as their husbanding service provider.

Both frigates arrived at Pier 15, South Harbor, Manila on March 29, 2019 and stayed in the country for four days. The Thai delegation was headed by Deputy Commander of Royal Thai Naval Academy, Rear Adm. Chanint Phadungkiat and consists of more than 500 naval cadets from RTN Cadet Cruise Training Unit.

For the last day of its visit on April 2, 2019, the Thai Navy constituents had a send-off ceremony together with representatives from Philippine Navy.

The visit of the RTN vessels in the country marks the fourth time since their last arrival in 2010.
