“The shipping industry runs the in the family. My father the late Capt. Rodolfo V. Endaluz rose from the ranks from being a cadet officer to being a Master Mariner. As far as my memory can recall I started boarding ships with my dad as early as 4 or 5 years old, when he was the Chief officer onboard one of the vessels of the Philippine President Lines, the local counter part of the American President Lines.
After my graduation my Dad insisted to bring me along onboard the ship. I had two stints onboard an international cargo vessels, first was M.V. Virginia and the 2nd one was M.V. Florida. I learned a lot as I was being taught in all aspects of the Deck, Engine & Steward Department.

When I came back to the Philippines I landed a job in Aboitiz Shipping. I was first assigned in Purchasing Department, procuring both technical and non-technical data. the first time Aboitiz shipping started with Superferries. After 1 year, I became the head of the Superferry Group.

In lieu of my experience both abroad and local, I decided to start my own company in 1999. I named it Seaway Filipinas Subic Trading which initially catered to ship chandling needs.

In 2005, the company was re-named to Seaway Filipinas Logistics Inc. Seaway expanded its services which already covered cargo handling in Port Irene in Cagayan which unloaded vehicles from abroad.

In 2012, Seaway opened its doors in Davao as became the Integrated Service Provider of Therma South Inc. for the construction of its 2x150MW Coal Power Plant.

Seaway continues to prosper and thrive in a very specialized field. Considering that 80% of the world is composed of water, logistics companies will always have a role. But Seaway’s commitment is that we are good at what we do.”
